Scheduler

This individual will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and monitoring project schedules while partnering closely with Project Managers, Engineering, Construction, and Project Controls teams to ensure projects remain on track and aligned with key milestones.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain integrated project schedules for Transmission and Substation capital projects.
• Monitor project progress, critical paths, milestones, and schedule performance.
• Coordinate schedule updates with Project Managers, Engineering, Construction, and external contractors.
• Identify schedule risks, delays, and resource constraints, and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Support project forecasting, reporting, and executive schedule updates.
• Ensure schedules accurately reflect project scope, sequencing, dependencies, and construction activities.
• Participate in project planning meetings and provide schedule analysis to support decision-making.
• Maintain schedule integrity throughout the project lifecycle, from development through project closeout.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of direct utility experience supporting Transmission and/or Substation projects.
• Experience developing and maintaining project schedules for utility capital programs.
• Proficiency with Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or similar scheduling software.
• Strong understanding of utility project lifecycles, engineering, and construction activities.
• Excellent communication, organisational, and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced utility environment.

Preferred Experience

• Transmission Line and Substation capital projects
• Utility owner/operator environment
• Project Controls or PMO experience
• Schedule analysis, critical path management, and resource planning
