HSE Advisor - Utility Scale Solar Farm

⏰ Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm

We are currently seeking an experienced HSE Advisor to join a leading EPC contractor delivering a utility-scale solar farm project in County Wexford. This is an excellent opportunity to join a major renewable energy development and play a key role in ensuring the highest standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance are maintained on site.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the implementation and maintenance of the project HSE management system.
  • Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and safety observations.
  • Ensure all site activities are carried out in compliance with Irish health & safety legislation and company procedures.
  • Assist with risk assessments, method statements, and permit systems.
  • Deliver site inductions and toolbox talks.
  • Investigate incidents, near misses, and non-conformances, ensuring corrective actions are implemented.
  • Promote a strong safety culture across all site personnel and subcontractors.
  • Liaise with site management, subcontractors, and client representatives on all HSE matters.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience working as an HSE Advisor in Ireland.
  • Level 7 qualification in Health, Safety & Environment or equivalent.
  • Valid First Aid Responder certification
  • Strong knowledge of Irish HSE legislation and site safety practices.
  • Previous experience on construction, infrastructure, or renewable energy projects is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication and reporting skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a project team.
