Distribution Standard Engineering Analyst

Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Distribution Engineering Analyst to support our power utilities engineering team with a strong focus on operations and technical documentation. This role partners closely with Principal Engineers, contributing to technical writing efforts and helping translate complex engineering concepts into clear, actionable deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Principal Engineers to support engineering initiatives and project execution
• Translate technical concepts into clear, concise documentation and deliverables
• Provide day-to-day support to the broader engineering team across distribution projects
• Contribute to process improvements with a structured, project management-oriented mindset
• Assist in coordinating engineering activities and ensuring alignment across teams

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in distribution engineering
• Strong communication skills with exceptional attention to detail
• Experience in operations engineering (preferred), with planning experience considered a plus
• Well-rounded background in utility distribution systems
• Proactive, high-achieving mindset with a strong sense of ownership

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Python or other scripting/programming tools
• Familiarity with process-driven or project management approaches
