Job Description: Automation Engineer (1-Year Contract)

We are seeking a talented and motivated Automation Engineer with hands-on experience in DeltaV systems and pharmaceutical plant operations for a 1-year contract role in Singapore. The successful candidate will play a critical role in optimizing and maintaining automation systems to ensure efficient and compliant manufacturing processes. Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement automation solutions utilizing DeltaV control systems specific to pharmaceutical manufacturing environments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including process engineering, quality assurance, and operations to meet automation requirements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues promptly to minimize production downtime.
• Support validation and commissioning activities aligned with regulatory standards (e.g., GMP, FDA).
• Document system configurations, changes, and testing results comprehensively.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance plant automation reliability and efficiency.
• Advocate for and contribute to an inclusive and respectful workplace culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Instrumentation, or related discipline.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience working with DeltaV control systems in pharmaceutical or similar regulated industries.
• Strong understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
• Willingness to work on-site in Singapore for the duration of the contract.
