We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Power Systems Engineer specialising in 3-phase UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) systems to join our innovative global team. Based partly in Denmark, you will play a key role in archetyping and developing high-power UPS solutions supporting data centres and data factories. Responsibilities
- Lead the design, architecture, and development of advanced 3-phase UPS systems tailored for high-power data centre applications.
- Collaborate with global teams across Denmark and other regions to deliver robust power supply solutions.
- Develop and optimise electrical infrastructure and power electronics related to UPS and power systems engineering.
- Provide system-level expertise and troubleshooting on UPS and electrical power systems to ensure high availability and performance.
- Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive market developments to keep our solutions at the forefront.
- Support cross-functional teams including R&D, product management, and operations to align UPS system designs with business goals.
- Contribute to documentation, testing, and validation of UPS system components and architectures.
- Mentor junior engineers fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in power systems engineering with a focus on UPS systems, preferably 3-phase architectures.
- Proven track record as a system specialist and architect in high-power electrical systems and power electronics.
- Hands-on experience working with UPS solutions for data centres or large-scale power infrastructure projects.
- Strong understanding of system architecture principles in power/electrical engineering contexts.
- Familiarity with data centre power requirements and infrastructure is a strong plus.
- Comfortable working in a global environment and collaborating across multiple geographic locations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively.
