Job Title: Test Leader

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Test Leader to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in embedded software testing within the automotive or similarly regulated industries. This role requires hands-on experience in writing and executing test cases at the ECU level, with deep knowledge of ISO 26262 functional safety standards and practical exposure to HIL and/or SIL testing environments. As a Test Leader, you will play a vital role in ensuring product quality and safety while fostering a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace. Responsibilities

  • Lead the development, execution, and management of embedded software test cases at the ECU level.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 26262 functional safety standards through lived program experience.
  • Design, implement, and oversee HIL and/or SIL testing strategies to validate software components.
  • Develop and maintain Python-based test automation frameworks and scripts that support test processes.
  • Utilize Jira to manage test planning, execution, and defect tracking effectively.
  • Continuously improve testing processes and tools with an emphasis on quality, safety, and efficiency.
  • Mentor and support team members to promote an inclusive and supportive environment.

Qualifications

  • Proven hands-on experience in embedded software test case writing and execution at the ECU level.
  • Strong background in automotive or similarly regulated industries with practical, lived experience in ISO 26262 functional safety programs.
  • Demonstrated expertise in Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) and/or Software-in-the-Loop (SIL) testing.
  • Proficiency in Python for developing and maintaining production-level test automation.
  • Experience with Jira for test management and defect tracking.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace.
  • Relevant degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or related fields preferred.
