Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Project Manager - Facilities Construction to join our diverse team. This role is pivotal in supporting the delivery of capital construction and facilities improvement projects across multiple locations. Responsibilities
- Support end-to-end project management activities from early planning through execution phases.
- Assist with early-stage project development including data gathering and scope definition, ensuring clarity and feasibility.
- Monitor project budgets, schedules, and overall progress to ensure alignment with goals.
- Coordinate seamlessly with internal stakeholders, external consultants, and contractors, promoting collaboration across teams.
- Oversee construction and contractor activities, verifying adherence to project documents and scopes.
- Ensure all construction phases comply with safety standards, promoting a culture of safety and inclusivity.
- Proactively identify project risks and issues, escalating as necessary to keep projects on schedule and within scope.
- Review Primavera P6 schedules, analyze critical paths, and support risk mitigation strategies.
- Prepare clear, concise reports and presentations for senior leadership to aid informed decision-making.
- Review technical drawings and construction documents, identifying design conflicts or constructability challenges.
- Provide practical construction insights during both planning and execution phases.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in project management within facilities construction or similar capital improvement fields.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, contractor oversight, and safety regulations including OSHA standards.
- Proficiency in Primavera P6 or equivalent project scheduling tools.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly to diverse audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects across different locations simultaneously.

- Problem-solving mindset with an emphasis on proactive risk management.
- Technical aptitude in reviewing construction drawings and documents.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred.
Day-to-Day
- Collaborate with project teams to define scope, develop schedules, and allocate resources.
- Attend planning and coordination meetings with contractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders.
- Monitor ongoing construction activities, ensuring quality, safety, and compliance standards are met.
- Analyze project data and produce status updates and executive-level reports.
- Identify potential project risks or scheduling issues and work with teams to develop solutions.
- Foster an inclusive team environment where every voice is respected and valued.
- Maintain organized project documentation and update reporting tools regularly.
- Engage in continuous learning to improve project management processes and promote best practices.
