Detecting cancer threats early

Detecting cancer threats early
Share

The earlier a cancer threat is detected, the more effectively it can be dealt with. Medical instruments that can be used to study DNA and advance biological research can have a life-changing impact for millions of people who are at threat from genetic mutations and diseases.

CMC have partnered with a major European biotechnology company who are developing new technologies that take large image data, analyse the images and convert them into a 2D map of the surface they are scanning, which will be used to study DNA and develop diagnostic tests for genetic abnormalities.

Our expert was deployed to the company to support them when they were falling behind on project delivery and needed to catch up. We supplied the consultant who can implement analysis algorithms into a physical medical instrument. With our help they are working to their timeframe and can implement their device to help identify threats in inherited diseases and cancer.
