QA Validation Engineer

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented QA Validation Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment based in Singapore. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity and compliance of validation activities in accordance with cGMP and regulatory standards. Responsibilities

  • Plan, execute, and review validation activities including equipment, process, cleaning, utilities, and computerized systems.
  • Develop, author, and approve validation protocols and reports (Installation Qualification [IQ], Operational Qualification [OQ], Performance Qualification [PQ]).
  • Manage deviations and Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPAs) related to validation processes.
  • Maintain audit-ready documentation to support inspections and internal assessments.
  • Actively support regulatory inspections by preparing documentation and facilitating communication.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Production, and Quality teams to ensure continuous compliance and validated states throughout the validation lifecycle.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to a culture of quality and compliance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor?s degree in Engineering, Pharmaceutical Science, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of practical experience in QA validation within pharmaceutical manufacturing.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of cGMP regulations, validation methodologies, and regulatory requirements specific to Singapore and relevant international standards.
  • Proven ability to author and approve validation protocols and reports.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Experience with managing deviations, CAPAs, and maintaining audit-ready documentation.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within diverse teams and demonstrate cultural sensitivity.
